Welcome! I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Delaware.
I received my PhD in Economics and Public Policy from Tufts University and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
My research interests are in development, labor, and gender economics. Broadly, my research focuses on two areas. First, I examine how state and non-state actors shape development outcomes, with particular attention to the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Second, I study the factors that enhance microentrepreneur productivity, including the impact of networks and AI-driven business advice, especially for women-led enterprises.
Beyond academia, I have worked on research and policy projects with organizations including the World Bank, UN Women, Mathematica, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Before joining the University of Delaware, I taught economics at The College of Wooster.
